US Cash Products - USG, NYH gasoline off as refiners return
NEW YORK, March 31 (Reuters) - Gasoline differentials fell on Monday in the Gulf Coast and New York Harbor hubs as fundamentals weakened with refiners returning from planned works, traders said.
"I heard some big numbers on F4, -24.75, (it's) ugly," said a gasoline trader in the New York Harbor, noting reformulated gasoline was down about two cents per gallon.
Traders said Sunoco restarted the crude unit and fluid cracking unit at the Point Breeze section of its Philadelphia refinery after planned work. [ID:nN31380589]
Valero was returning a hydrocracker at its 230,000 barrel per day Port Arthur, Texas refinery to planned rates after a power failure last week. [ID:nN31393946]
Murphy completed planned work on a 32,000 bpd reformer at its Meraux, Louisiana refinery. [ID:nN31385491]
Heating oil sank 6 cents per gallon in the Harbor on falling late winter demand, traders said.
U.S. heating demand will be 7.7 percent below normal this week, the National Weather Service said. Heating oil demand is seen less than 1 percent below normal. [ID:nN31351870]
