Aker Yards says not in breach of debt covenant

OSLO, March 14 (Reuters) - Norwegian shipbuilder Aker Yards (AKY.OL: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Friday it was not in breach of its debt covenant after talks with creditors.

"This dialogue with banks and bondholders' representatives has now concluded that Aker Yards was not in breach of the covenant and that the issue is resolved," the company said in a statement.

Aker Yards said when presenting its fourth-quarter data that it may have broken its debt rules. (Reporting by Wojciech Moskwa)
