FACTBOX-China's liquefied natural gas import deals
BEIJING, Nov 4 (Reuters) - U.S. major ExxonMobil Corp (XOM.N: Quote, Profile, Research) has reached a preliminary deal to sell 2 million tonnes a year of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from its Papua New Guinea project to China's Sinopec (0386.HK: Quote, Profile, Research), a key step in moving the project towards final approval. [ID:nSYD537366]
The fuel will feed Sinopec's first receiving terminal in Qingdao in eastern Shandong province, Sinopec said in a release.
