Exxon says Sinopec to buy Papua New Guinea LNG
PERTH, Nov 4 (Reuters) - U.S. energy major ExxonMobil Corp (XOM.N: Quote, Profile, Research) has reached a preliminary agreement to sell 2 million tonnes a year of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to a unit of China's Sinopec Corp (0386.HK: Quote, Profile, Research), it said on Wednesday.
Exxon said the gas would be supplied from its Papua New Guinea LNG project. (Reporting by Fayen Wong; Editing by Mark Bendeich)
