TABLE-Asia physical rubber prices - July 9
TOKYO, July 9 (Reuters) - Asian physical rubber prices were steady to a touch softer on Wednesday, as lingering supply tightness provided some protection from weak Tokyo rubber futures prices, traders said.
"We don't expect the physical prices to drop as much," a Singapore-based trader said.
He said this was due to the fact that physical rubber supplies had still not returned to their normal levels.
