Toronto stocks buoyed by RIM, resource shares
TORONTO, April 3 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index pushed 100 points higher on Thursday, lifted by strong results from Research In Motion (RIM.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) and gains in the materials sector.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 100.08 points, or 0.74 percent, at 13,614.22 in the afternoon. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
