TEXT-S&P on Nuveen Tax-Advantaged Total Return Strategy Fund

April 28 - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today withdrew its rating on
the series W and F preferred shares issued by Nuveen Tax-Advantaged Total
Return Strategy Fund, a leveraged closed-end fund transaction (see list).

The rating withdrawal follows the redemption of the series on April 28,
2008.
