TransCanada agrees to partners for pipeline
TORONTO, May 12 (Reuters) - TransCanada Corp (TRP.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday it has agreed to partner with Enterprise Products Partners (EPD.N: Quote, Profile, Research) and Quicksilver Gas Services (KGS.P: Quote, Profile, Research) to build its proposed Pathfinder natural gas pipeline.
Under the agreement, Enterprise and Quicksilver would acquire up to a total of 50 percent of the project and commit to ship a total of 500 million cubic feet per day for a 10-year term. Pathfinder is expected to ship gas from the U.S. Rocky Mountains to the Midwestern states and possibly beyond. (Reporting by Cameron French; Editing by Bernadette Baum)
