Peru's cenbank offers to buy dollars as sol gains

LIMA, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Peru's central bank offered to buy dollars on the local spot market on Tuesday as the sol currency traded 0.08 percent stronger at 2.61 per dollar, its highest level in more than 15 years.

The sol ended bidding on Monday at 2.612 per dollar and gained on Tuesday as foreign markets expect the European Central Bank to implement stimulus measures.
