KKR hires Lazard exec to boost infrastructure biz

NEW YORK, May 16 (Reuters) - Private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co [KKR.UL] said on Friday it hired Lazard (LAZ.N: Quote, Profile, Research) banker George Bilicic to lead a team that will focus on investing in infrastructure assets worldwide.

Bilicic, who was named managing director and head of infrastructure, has been a managing director at investment bank Lazard heading up its global efforts in the power, energy and infrastructure sectors, KKR said in a statement. (Reporting by Christian Plumb; Editing by Derek Caney)
