MILAN, July 6 (Reuters) - Italian publishing-to-lottery group De Agostini is interested in buying media and TV content, but Chief Executive Lorenzo Pellicioli dismissed any interest in Italian television station LA7.

"Italy is an important market but we do not see any strategic prospects in the press. However, we will look at any type of opportunity in media and television content," Pellicioli told Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore in an interview. "LA7 did not and does not interest us."

LA7 is owned by Telecom Italia Media (TCM.MI: Quote, Profile, Research).

In addition to publishing art books, dictionaries and maps, unlisted De Agostini owns over 50 percent in lottery operator Lottomatica (LTO.MI: Quote, Profile, Research).

Pellicioli said De Agostini could list its media content holding in the future.

"It will either be listed or will be fundamental to consolidation operations," he said.
