PARIS, June 19 (Reuters) - French video game accessory group BigBen Interactive (BGBN.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) sees a "substantial" fall in first-quarter sales to June, as no major video console has been launched lately, but says the video game market is resilient.

"The first quarter will be down compared to last year, it will be a substantial decrease, not 3 or 4 percent. But last year was exceptionally good, with the launch of Wii Fit and MarioKart," Chairman and Chief Executive Alain Falc told Reuters.

The company, which is Europe's largest producer of video game accessories with a market share of about 20 percent, has been hit by lower demand for video consoles after the good sales of Nintendo's Wii, since consumers are now waiting for a price decrease in consoles.  Continued...
