Piaggio sees net profit in H2 - fin director

MILAN, July 3 (Reuters) - Italian scooter maker Piaggio SpA (PIA.MI: Quote, Profile, Research) foresees a net profit "definitely" in the second half and is targeting a net profit for the full year, Finance Director Michele Pallottini said on Friday.

He told a news conference he expected an improved Moody's credit rating after the 2009-12 business plan was released on Friday.

Chairman and Chief Executive Roberto Colaninno said the company was working on collaborating with important Chinese and Japanese groups. He did not elaborate.
