Brazil car sales down 5.2 pct Oct vs Sept-dealers
SAO PAULO, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Automobile sales in Brazil dropped 5.2 percent in October from the previous month, the country's car dealers' association Fenabrave said on Wednesday.
Car registrations for new vehicles rose 25.2 in October from a year earlier, the association said.
Brazil, Latin America's largest economy, is a major market for Italy's Fiat (FIA.MI: Quote, Profile, Research), Germany's Volkswagen AG (VOWG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research), U.S.-based General Motors [GM.UL] and Ford Motor Co (F.N: Quote, Profile, Research).
