(The following statement was released by the company)

WELLINGTON, Nov 9 - The company advises that acting CEO Roy Dillon will resign from his position on 31 March 2010.

Mr Dillon was appointed acting CEO on 1 October 2008, with the specific task of steering the company through the recession.

Chairman of Directors, Warren Bell, said that the board had been extremely fortunate to have Mr Dillon as CEO over a year which had been exceptionally turbulent for retail, but acknowledged Roy had accepted the position for a finite time only.

"Mr Dillon has indicated he wishes to pursue other ventures, and we must accept that position.

The company has commenced an executive search for his replacement."
