NEW YORK, May 7 (Reuters) - Delek US Holdings Inc (DK.N: Quote, Profile, Research) has increased its 2009 project capital expenditure budget from $124 million to $149 million, company executives said in a quarterly earnings conference call.

Over $41 million of the project capex is expected to be reimbursed under Delek's property insurance policy, company executives said.

The increase in the budget includes $5.8 million of capital expenditures moved up from 2010 into 2009 to work on projects, fluid catalytic cracking building and other projects.

Additional work on the turnaround at the company's 55,000 barrel per day Tyler, Texas, refinery added 12.4 million to the overall turnaround budget, and the cost associated with the saturated gas plant rebuild increased, executives said. (Reporting by Rebekah Kebede)
