Range Resources to beat Q1 output guidance - CEO
NEW ORLEANS, April 9 (Reuters) - Range Resources Corp (RRC.N: Quote, Profile, Research) will beat its first quarter production target, the chief executive of the independent oil and gas company said on Wednesday.
"For Q1 we said we will have 355 million (cubic feet equivalent) a day, but we are going to beat that guidance," Range Resources Chief Executive John Pinkerton told analysts at the April 6-10 Howard Weil Energy Conference in New Orleans.
The company's output averaged 343 million cfe per day in the fourth quarter of 2007, he said.
Pinkerton also told the analysts that Range Resources was targeting 15 percent production growth this year.
