CALGARY, Alberta, April 10 (Reuters) - Imperial Oil Ltd's (IMO.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) 187,000 barrel a day refinery in Edmonton, Alberta, is operating normally after the company completed repairs to a unit that malfunctioned in early March, a spokesman said on Thursday.

Imperial's Gordon Wong declined to give actual output rates at the Strathcona plant, but stressed it is "fully operational."

The company, Canada's biggest oil producer and refiner, is 69.6 percent owned by U.S. oil major Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N: Quote, Profile, Research) (Reporting by Jeffrey Jones; editing by Renato Andrade)
