NEW YORK, May 16 (Reuters) - Sunoco Inc (SUN.N: Quote, Profile, Research) shut down a crude unit at the Girard Point section of its 335,000 barrel per day Philadelphia oil refinery due to a snag, trade sources said on Friday.
A company spokesman was not available to comment.
The refinery has two sections -- Point Breeze and Girard Point -- which have crude distillation capacities of 140,000 bpd and 200,000 bpd, respectively. (Reporting by Haitham Haddadin in New York and Janet McGurty in London)
