Valero reschedules St. Charles coker work
HOUSTON, April 28 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp (VLO.N: Quote, Profile, Research) has rescheduled a coking unit overhaul from the fourth quarter of this year to first quarter of 2010 at its 250,000 barrel per day (bpd) St. Charles refinery in Louisiana, company executives said on Tuesday.
Rescheduling the overhaul helped Valero cut $200 million from its capital expenditure plans for this year, executives said in a conference call with Wall Street analysts. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
