BP warns of flaring at Carson, CA, refinery-filing

HOUSTON, May 28 (Reuters) - BP Plc (BP.L: Quote, Profile, Research) warned of planned flaring at its 265,000 barrel-per-day Los Angeles-area refinery in Carson, California, between Saturday and June 9 in a notice filed on Thursday with Los Angeles-area pollution regulators.

The notice with the South Coast Air Quality Management District did not say which units were responsible for the flaring. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by John Picinich)
