Total buys interests in offshore Australia licences

PARIS, May 13 (Reuters) - Total (TOTF.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Tuesday it had acquired interests in three offshore licences in Australia's North West Shelf.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Total bought a 50 percent stake in two offshore permits in the Vulcan basin, in partnership with the operating company Apache Corp (APA.N: Quote, Profile, Research), and one permit as full operator in the Browse basin, north of Ichthys.
