Irish Life convenves meeting on restructuring
DUBLIN, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Bancassurer Irish Life & Permanent (IPM.I: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Wednesday it would hold a shareholder meeting on Dec. 17 to consider the previously announced creation of a new holding company.
The move is expected to facilitate the spin-off of its banking arm permanent tsb.
