-- HSBC Vietnam has added China's yuan to the list of foreign currencies accepted for payment in commercial transactions.

THANH NIEN

-- ACE Life Insurer (ACE.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said its revenue in the first nine months of 2009 grew 54 percent from the same period last year to nearly 319 billion dong ($17.9 million).

-- Maritime Bank said its gross profit for the first 10 months of the year was 780 billion dong ($43.7 million).

-- Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has just approved the plan to equitise 12 enterprises which are currently run under the Industry and Trade Ministry between 2009 and 2010, including three corporations and nine companies.  Continued...
