BRUSSELS, May 29 (Reuters) - Euronext said on Friday it would adjust the divisor and possibly the weighting of Befimmo (COFB.BR: Quote, Profile, Research), after the Belgian property investment group said on Monday it was planning a capital increase. [ID:nBRQ007353]

The move will mean the level of Belgium's bluechip index, the BEL20, will remain unchanged after the capital increase.

Euronext said it would publish the new divisor and, if necessary, the new weight of Befimmo, after the close of trading on June 3, 2009, and would come into effect immediately.

Befimmo's portfolio is focused on offices in Brussels, the majority of them on long-term let to public institutions. (Reporting by Anne Jolis)
