MEXICO CITY, April 9 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks fell sharply on Wednesday, dragged down by telecom bellwether America Movil (AMXL.MX: Quote, Profile, Research) amid worries about the health of the U.S. economy.
The benchmark IPC index .MXX fell 1.03 percent to 31,401 points. (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle)
