Chile's Enersis net profit rise 19.2 percent

SANTIAGO, April 25 (Reuters) - Chile-based regional energy group Enersis (ENI.N: Quote, Profile, Research) ENE.SN said on Friday its first quarter profit rose 19.2 percent.

Enersis, the regional investment arm of Endesa Spain (ELE.MC: Quote, Profile, Research), said its net profit in the Jan-March period was 69.748 billion pesos ($159.3 million), compared to 58.526 billion pesos in the same period last year.
