Czech Komercni Q3 net down, loan risk cost rises
PRAGUE, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Net profit at Czech lender Komercni Banka (BKOMsp.PR: Quote, Profile, Research) fell 23 percent, slightly more than expected, in the third quarter to 2.68 billion crowns ($150.6 million) after a rise in provisions for bad loans.
The sole listed Czech bank said on Wednesday that provisions for loan losses rose to 1.32 billion crowns in the quarter, up from 1.26 billion in the second quarter but more than double a year ago.
