Zeltia eyes revenue boost from cancer drug -report
MADRID, July 4 (Reuters) - Spanish pharmaceutical company Zeltia (ZEL.MC: Quote, Profile, Research) expects to boost revenue after approval for its cancer drug Yondelis is extended to ovarian cancer treatment, financial daily Negocio said on Friday.
Negocio quoted Zeltia Chairman Jose Maria Fernandez as saying total sales for Yondelis would rise to 400 million euros from 100 million with the ovarian cancer treatment, which he expected in mid-2009.
Fernandez added that the company aimed for revenue of 30 million euros in 2008, rising to 90 million in 2010, when he expected Zeltia to break even.
He said Zeltia aimed to name in September the lead manager for floating its subsidiary Neuropharma. (Reporting by Martin Roberts; Editing by Erica Billingham)
