LONDON, Nov 2 (Reuters) - British power protection company Chloride Group (CHLD.L: Quote, Profile, Research) posted a 16 percent drop in adjusted pretax profit on Monday, but said it was confident about its prospects for the year.
The company, which protects against power shortages at Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 and Arsenal soccer club's Emirates stadium in London, posted adjusted pretax profit of 16.2 million pounds ($26.6 million) on sales broadly flat at 152.7 million pounds.
"We enter the second half with good order book coverage, and with trading in with expectations," Chief Executive Tim Cobbold said in a statement. Continued...
