Abengoa 9-mth net up 24 pct on construction, energy

MADRID, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Spanish engineering company Abengoa (ABG.MC: Quote, Profile, Research) posted a 23.8 percent rise in nine-month net profit to 124.6 million euros ($183.7 million) on Wednesday, fuelled by a strong performance from its construction and bioenergy divisions.

Sales grew 10.6 percent to 2.86 billion euros, the company said.
