AES Calif. Redondo units back on-line

LOS ANGELES, April 21 (Reuters) - AES Corp.'s (AES.N: Quote, Profile, Research) 496-megawatt Unit 8 and 493-MW Unit 7 at the Redondo Beach natural gas-fired power station in California both came back on-line over the weekend, the California Independent System Operator said in a report.

Both units returned on Saturday, the report said.

The 1,310-megawatt Redondo Beach station is located in Redondo Beach in Los Angeles County about 20 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.

Unit 7 went off-line on March 28 and Unit 8 went off-line last Thursday.
