BRIEF-Norske Skog declines comment on shareholder's sale

OSLO, June 4 (Reuters) - Norwegian papermaker Norske Skog's (NSG.OL: Quote, Profile, Research) spokesman Tom Bratlie said on Thursday:

* The company has no comment on a placement of a 5.9 pct stake in Norske Skog by its biggest owner, Unionen.

* "We have seen the stock exchange release, but we have no comment on it."

* "I don't want to speculate on the outcome of this."
