Italy govt calls Alitalia unions to talks Thursday
ROME, April 7 (Reuters) - The Italian government has called unions representing employees of Alitalia (AZPIa.MI: Quote, Profile, Research) to talks on Thursday, it said in a statement.
Air France-KLM (AIRF.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) called off takeover talks with Alitalia unions last week when it failed to agree terms with workers. The Franco-Dutch airline said on Monday it was now up to the unions to express how they saw the future of the airline.
