Enodis says gets takeover bid at 260p a share

LONDON, April 9 (Reuters) - Enodis Plc (ENO.L: Quote, Profile, Research), which makes fryers for McDonald's and Burger King, said on Wednesday it had received an indicative cash proposal from Manitowoc (MTW.N: Quote, Profile, Research) at 260 pence per share.

"On the basis of this indicative proposal, the company has granted Manitowoc due diligence access and will update the market in due course as appropriate," Enodis said in a statement. (Reporting by Mike Elliott; Editing by Chris Wills)
