Playtech signs poker deal with Italy's Snai

Aug 13 (Reuters) - Britain's Playtech Ltd (PTEC.L: Quote, Profile, Research), a supplier of software to online gaming companies, is establishing a foothold in the Italian poker market after signing a licensing deal with Italy's Snai S.r.l, Playtech said Wednesday.

Playtech said in a statement it would provide Snai, which runs a network of 6,000 betting shops in Italy, with its entire portfolio of tournament poker game software. (Reporting by Balachander Surianarayanan in Bangalore, editing by Will Waterman)
