Telecom Italia, 3 Italia in radio site sharing deal
MILAN, July 3 (Reuters) - Telecom Italia SpA (TLIT.MI: Quote, Profile, Research) and Hutchison Whampoa Ltd (0013.HK: Quote, Profile, Research) unit 3 Italia have signed an agreement to share at least 2,000 mobile radio sites, the companies said in joint statement on Friday.
The three-year agreement is for sharing access to existing sites and those yet to be built, according to the statement. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed and neither company was available for comment. (Writing by Nigel Tutt, editing by Leslie Gevirtz)
