LONDON, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Brief reports of Premier League matches played on Sunday:

MANCHESTER UNITED 1 MANCHESTER CITY 2

City honoured the memory of United's tragic 1958 Busby Babes, then celebrated their first win at Old Trafford since 1974 and first league double over them since 1969.

Darius Vassell and debutant Benjani Mwaruwari scored in the first half before substitute Michael Carrick grabbed a consolation goal in stoppage time for United.

CHELSEA 0 LIVERPOOL 0

Liverpool looked the more likely to score in a game full of scrappy errors.

Chelsea might have had a penalty in the first half when Javier Mascherano tripped Joe Cole and Michael Ballack was just wide of the far post with a second-half volley.

Striker Peter Crouch missed two Liverpool chances in the space of two minutes when he shot wide in the 18th then headed straight at Petr Cech from Steven Gerrard's cross.  Continued...
