MANCHESTER, England, April 13 (Reuters) - Marleen Veldhuis of the Netherlands broke her own women's 50 metres freestyle world short-course record at the world short-course swimming championships on Sunday.
Veldhuis clocked 23.25 seconds to beat the 23.58 she set in Berlin on Nov. 17, 2007. (Reporting by Derek Parr; editing by Rex Gowar)
