REPSOL (REP.MC: Quote, Profile, Research)
China National Petroleum Corporation will present a binding offer in the next few days for 75 percent of Repsol's Argentine unit YPF, Spanish daily ABC reported on Tuesday, citing sources close to the talks.
BANKS
Spanish savings banks Unicaja and Caja de Jaen announced on Monday they would merge, creating a business with a volume of 50 billion euros. Other savings banks could later be incorporated into the merger deal, said the banks.
