Spanish stocks - Factors to watch on Wednesday

MADRID, Sept 24 (Reuters) - The following Spanish stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Wednesday. Reuters has not verified the newspaper reports, and cannot vouch for their accuracy:

ACS (ACS.MC: Quote, Profile, Research), IBERDROLA (IBE.MC: Quote, Profile, Research)

Construction firm ACS has given investment banks the mandate to buy up cheap shares in utility Iberdrola on its behalf, ABC reported, without naming its source.

According to the newspaper, last week ACS spent 30 million euros to acquire an additional 0.1 percent of Iberdrola in the stock market, raising its stake to 12.5 percent.

FERROVIAL (FER.MC: Quote, Profile, Research)

Ferrovial lodges an official complaint against the UK Competition Commission and warns again of a court appeal if its airport disposal ruling is not withdrawn, Expansion reported.
