Broadcaster Sogecable to leave Spanish index

MADRID, May 6 (Reuters) - Spanish broadcaster Sogecable SGCE.MC is to leave Spain's blue-chip Ibex index .IBEX from May 12 after it was bought out by parent company Prisa (PRS.MC: Quote, Profile, Research), Spain's stock market said on Tuesday. A statement from the Ibex committee said the index would temporarily be composed of just 34 stocks, rather than the normmal 35. (Reporting by Jesus Aguado; Editing by Ben Harding)
