REUTERS - At least 15,920 people have been confirmed infected with the new H1N1 flu strain in 57 countries.

A 23-year-old Vietnamese student who returned home from the United States was confirmed as having the H1N1 influenza virus, the first case in the Southeast Asian country, a Vietnamese doctor said on Sunday.

Cyprus identified its first case of the new H1N1 flu virus, the island's health minister said on Saturday and Hungary reported its first confirmed case on Friday. Lebanon also identified its first confirmed three cases of the virus, the health minister said on Saturday.

Here are some details about the spread of the virus:

DEATH TOLL: 115

CONFIRMED CASES: The number of confirmed cases of H1N1 is 15,922 in 57 countries. The World Health Organisation includes Taiwan and Hong Kong in China for its country tally.
