HK shares end higher led by Chinese insurers
HONG KONG, July 3 (Reuters) - Hong Kong shares reversed their downward course to claw back a 0.1 percent gain on Friday, snapping a three-day losing spell, as Chinese insurers climbed, tracking strong gains on the mainland markets.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI finished up 25.35 points at 18,203.40, but the main index lost 2.1 percent on week.
The China Enterprises Index .HSCE, which represents top locally listed mainland Chinese stocks, was up 0.1 percent at 10,983.77. (Reporting by Parvathy Ullatil; Editing by Chris Lewis)
