Cycling - Italy's Ricco wins Giro d'Italia second stage

AGRIGENTO, Italy (Reuters) - Italy's Riccardo Ricco of the Saunier Duval team won the second stage of the Giro d'Italia from Cefalu to Agrigento on Sunday.

Ricco beat compatriots Danilo Di Luca and Davide Rebellin in a sprint on the uphill finish in Agrigento.

Italy's Franco Pellizotti of the Liquigas team finished fourth and is the new race leader according to provisional results.

Pellizotti will wear the pink jersey during Monday's 221km third stage from Catania to Milazzo.
