PARIS (Reuters) - Roger Federer won his first French Open title with a 6-1 7-6 6-4 victory over Sweden's Robin Soderling on Sunday.

The win allowed the Swiss to become only the sixth man to win all four majors in their careers and also gave him a record equalling 14th grand slam title.
