PARIS (Reuters) - Boeing plans to announce a fourth acquisition in the intelligence sector at the Paris Airshow on Monday, the company's top defense executive Jim Albaugh told reporters on Sunday.

A Boeing spokesman declined to give details on the scope of the deal or the size of the target company.

Defense companies worldwide are seeking to expand in security, surveillance and intelligence to compensate for flat conventional weapons spending and changes in perceived threats.
