Tenet Healthcare revenue falls about 3 pct on weak demand

Feb 27 (Reuters) - Tenet Healthcare Corp, the third largest for-profit U.S. hospital operator, reported a 3.3 percent fall in quarterly revenue, hurt by weak demand.

Net loss attributable to Tenet shareholders narrowed to $79 million, or 79 cents per share, in the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, from a loss of $97 million, or 98 cents per share, a year earlier.

Net operating revenue fell to $4.86 billion from $5.03 billion. (Reporting by Ankur Banerjee in Bengaluru; Editing by Shounak Dasgupta)
