Ferrari hit back in final Spanish GP practice
BARCELONA (Reuters) - Champions Ferrari roared back to the top of the timesheets on Saturday with Felipe Massa leading Kimi Raikkonen one-two in final Spanish Grand Prix practice.
Brazilian Massa, last year's overall runner-up but still without a point after four races this season, lapped the Circuit de Catalunya in one minute, 20.553 seconds with 2007 world champion Raikkonen 0.082 slower.
Raikkonen has not won since his triumph in Barcelona last year while Ferrari have endured their worst start to a championship.
However, the Italian team have revamped their car for the first race of the European season, with aerodynamic developments including a new rear diffuser similar to that used by championship-leading Brawn GP.
Brawn's Jenson Button, leading the standings after three wins in four races, was the third quickest but nearly half a second off Massa's pace. Brazilian team mate Rubens Barrichello was fourth.
Red Bull, second to Brawn in the constructors' championship after their one-two finish in China, were considerably further back with Australian Mark Webber in 13th place and Sebastian Vettel 16th.
