ANKARA (Reuters) - Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim will make a statement on the referendum to boost President Tayyip Erdogan's powers at 9 p.m. (1800 GMT), the prime minister's office said on Sunday.

Votes in favour of constitutional changes that would give Erdogan sweeping new powers narrowed to 51.7 percent with around 95 percent of ballot boxes opened, the state-run Anadolu news agency said. "No" votes have taken the lead in Turkey's three largest cities, Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, and the mainly Kurdish southeast, the data showed.
